Le Chat Noir, Paint and Spackle
The semi-annual "inspections" at Glen Lake always get me in gear to clean up. After 9 years, my walls are in REALLY bad shape (Al and the birds contribute to that as well), and so I went to Home Depot and bought some paint, rollers, brushes and spackle.
My one wall turned out so good, I decided it needed some new artwork. So I took a vintage french poster that's been in its roll-mailer since Christmas, and framed it myself. It looks like Mag, and looks really good on my new wall. The painting went so well, I just might try to do a little more. I have lots of guests coming over the next few months, so it will be nicer for them, too.
Some new plants rounded out the room for a very serene effect.
Let's hope I can keep it that way for awhile!
xoxo
